Recycling Program

As a reminder to all new and current recyclers, please see the list below:

#1 - All recycling items should be clean!

#2 - No containers that held hazardous chemicals...even if they are clean.

Please do not hesitate to contact Jason at (630) 892-0246 if you have any questions.

When can I recycle?

Our recycling center is open Monday through Friday from 8am - 330pm. If this is not convenient for your schedule, please contact Jason at the Highway Department's main office (630-892-0246) to make other arrangements.

How do I recycle?

Simply bring your acceptable recyclables to the Highway Department's facility at 220 Butterfield Road in North Aurora. Identify yourself as a recycler, and we'll buzz you in through the gate.  You can then proceed to the unattended recycling container in behind our parking lot.  If you need help, please let us know and we'll be out to assist you.

When will you take...?

We are constantly researching new opportunities to expand our recycling list. If you have a suggestion, please let us know!
